About Us
The leading voice for engineering excellence and regional collaboration in West Africa.
Our Story
The West African Federation of Engineering Organisations (WAFEO) was established in 2011 to unite engineering institutions across the region under one umbrella. Ratified later that year in Calabar, Nigeria, WAFEO provides a common platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and advocacy. For more than a decade, it has championed professional standards, innovation, and sustainable development, while ensuring West African’s engineering voice is heard in global forums.
